श्लोक २६: सत् शब्द सद्भाव, साधुभाव और प्रशस्त कर्म में प्रयुक्त होता है। Verse 26: The word Sat is used to denote existence, goodness, and auspicious actions.
संस्कृत श्लोक
सद्भावे साधुभावे च सदित्येतत्प्रयुज्यते। प्रशस्ते कर्मणि तथा सच्छब्दः पार्थ युज्यते॥२६॥
sad-bhāve sādhu-bhāve ca sad ity etat prayujyate | praśaste karmaṇi tathā sac-chabdaḥ pārtha yujyate ||26||

हिंदी अनुवाद
सत् शब्द का प्रयोग सद्भाव (वस्तु की सत्ता) और साधुभाव (उत्तमता) के अर्थ में होता है। तथा हे पार्थ! प्रशस्त (शुभ) कर्म में भी सत् शब्द का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
English Translation
The word Sat is used in the sense of reality and goodness; and also, O Partha, the word Sat is used in the sense of an auspicious act.
टीका / Commentary
अब "सत्" शब्द के अर्थ बताए गए हैं – यह सत्ता (विद्यमानता) और साधुता (अच्छाई) का वाचक है। शुभ कर्मों को भी "सत्" कहा जाता है, क्योंकि वे सत् (सत्य/कल्याण) की ओर ले जाते हैं। The word "Sat" signifies existence (reality) and goodness. It is also used in the context of auspicious actions, indicating that they are true and beneficial.
