श्रद्धात्रय विभाग योग (Sraddhatraya Vibhaga Yoga) – श्लोक 13
श्लोक १३: बिना विधि, बिना अन्न-वितरण, बिना मन्त्र, बिना दक्षिणा, बिना श्रद्धा का यज्ञ तामस है। Verse 13: Sacrifice devoid of scriptural rules, food distribution, mantras, gifts, and faith is tamasic.

विधिहीनमसृष्टान्नं मन्त्रहीनमदक्षिणम्। श्रद्धाविरहितं यज्ञं तामसं परिचक्षते॥१३॥
vidhi-hīnam asṛṣṭānnaṁ mantra-hīnam adakṣiṇam | śraddhā-virahitaṁ yajñaṁ tāmasaṁ paricakṣate ||13||
पदच्छेद / शब्दार्थ
विधिहीनम्: devoid of scriptural direction; असृष्टान्नम्: without distribution of food; मन्त्रहीनम्: devoid of mantras; अदक्षिणम्: without gifts (fees) to priests; श्रद्धाविरहितम्: devoid of faith; यज्ञम्: sacrifice; तामसम्: tamasic; परिचक्षते: declare.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जो यज्ञ विधि-हीन हो, बिना अन्न-वितरण का हो, मन्त्र-हीन हो, बिना दक्षिणा का हो और श्रद्धा-रहित हो – वह तामस कहा जाता है।
English Translation
That sacrifice which is devoid of scriptural direction, in which no food is distributed, which is devoid of mantras and gifts to priests, and which is devoid of faith – is declared as tamasic.
टीका / Commentary
तामस यज्ञ शास्त्रीय विधि, मन्त्र, श्रद्धा, दक्षिणा और अन्न-वितरण से रहित होता है। यह केवल नाममात्र का होता है, बिना किसी वास्तविक भाव या नियम के। A tamasic sacrifice is performed without following the scriptures, without mantras, without charity, without distribution of food, and without faith. It is merely a show, devoid of spiritual substance.
