कर्म योग (Karma Yoga) – श्लोक 28
श्लोक २८ में कहा गया है कि तत्त्वज्ञ गुणों के कार्य को समझकर आसक्त नहीं होता। Verse 28: The knower of truth, understanding the interplay of guṇas, remains unattached.
संस्कृत श्लोक
तत्त्ववित्तु महाबाहो गुणकर्मविभागयोः | गुणा गुणेषु वर्तन्त इति मत्वा न सज्जते ||२८||
tattvavit tu mahābāho guṇakarmavibhāgayoḥ | guṇā guṇeṣu vartanta iti matvā na sajjate ||28||
पदच्छेद / शब्दार्थ
तत्त्ववित्: तत्त्व को जानने वाला; तु: लेकिन; महाबाहो: हे महाबाहो (अर्जुन); गुणकर्मविभागयो: गुणों और कर्मों के विभाग का; गुणा: गुण; गुणेषु: गुणों में; वर्तन्ते: व्यवहार करते हैं; इति: इस प्रकार; मत्वा: जानकर; न: नहीं; सज्जते: आसक्त होता है।
हिंदी अनुवाद
परन्तु हे महाबाहो! गुणों और कर्मों के विभाग के तत्त्व को जानने वाला यह समझकर कि "गुण गुणों में बरत रहे हैं", आसक्त नहीं होता।
English Translation
But one who knows the truth, O mighty-armed, about the divisions of the guṇas and their actions, understands that the senses move among the sense objects. Being thus unattached, he does not become bound.
टीका / Commentary
ज्ञानी जानता है कि इन्द्रियाँ और विषय – ये सब गुणों की लीला हैं, इसलिए वह आसक्त नहीं होता। वह साक्षी भाव से रहता है। The wise person knows that the senses and their objects are all a play of the guṇas; therefore he remains unattached, like a witness.
