क्षेत्र क्षेत्रज्ञ विभाग योग (Kshetra Kshetragya Vibhag Yoga) – श्लोक 34
श्लोक ३४ में सूर्य के दृष्टान्त से क्षेत्रज्ञ द्वारा क्षेत्र के प्रकाशन का वर्णन। Verse 34: The knower illumines the entire field like the sun illumines the world.
संस्कृत श्लोक
यथा प्रकाशयत्येकः कृत्स्नं लोकमिमं रविः । क्षेत्रं क्षेत्री तथा कृत्स्नं प्रकाशयति भारत ॥ ३४॥
yathā prakāśayaty ekaḥ kṛtsnaṁ lokam imaṁ raviḥ | kṣetraṁ kṣetrī tathā kṛtsnaṁ prakāśayati bhārata ||34||
पदच्छेद / शब्दार्थ
यथा: just as; प्रकाशयति: illuminates; एकः: one; कृत्स्नम्: whole; लोकम्: world; इमम्: this; रविः: the sun; क्षेत्रम्: the field; क्षेत्री: the knower of the field; तथा: similarly; कृत्स्नम्: the entire; प्रकाशयति: illumines; भारत: O descendant of Bharata.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे भारत ! जिस प्रकार एक ही सूर्य इस सम्पूर्ण जगत् को प्रकाशित करता है, उसी प्रकार क्षेत्रज्ञ (पुरुष) सम्पूर्ण क्षेत्र (शरीर) को प्रकाशित करता है।
English Translation
O Bhārata, just as the sun alone illuminates this entire world, so does the knower of the field illuminate the entire field.
टीका / Commentary
This verse beautifully illustrates the relationship between the knower (consciousness) and the known (material nature). Just as the sun illumines the entire world without being affected, the soul illumines the body with consciousness. The sun is one, yet its light pervades everywhere; similarly, the soul, though one, manifests consciousness throughout the body. "भारत" addresses Arjuna as one who is worthy of this knowledge.
