भक्ति योग (Bhakti Yoga) – श्लोक 20
जो श्रद्धा सहित इस भक्तियोग का पालन करते हैं, वे मुझे अत्यन्त प्रिय हैं। Those who follow this path are exceedingly dear to Me.
संस्कृत श्लोक
ये तु धर्म्यामृतमिदं यथोक्तं पर्युपासते । श्रद्दधाना मत्परमा भक्तास्तेऽतीव मे प्रियाः ॥ २०॥
ye tu dharmyāmṛtam idaṃ yathoktaṃ paryupāsate | śraddadhānā mat-paramā bhaktās te 'tīva me priyāḥ ||20||
पदच्छेद / शब्दार्थ
ये: who; तु: but; धर्म्य-अमृतम्: the nectar of righteousness; इदम्: this; यथा-उक्तम्: as described; पर्युपासते: follow; श्रद्दधाना: endowed with faith; मत्-परमा: having Me as the supreme; भक्ता: devotees; ते: they; अतीव: exceedingly; मे: to Me; प्रिय: dear.
हिंदी अनुवाद
परन्तु जो इस धर्म्य अमृत (भक्तियोग) को, जैसा ऊपर कहा गया है, श्रद्धा सहित, मुझ परम परायण होकर सेवन करते हैं, वे भक्त मुझे अत्यन्त प्रिय हैं।
English Translation
But those who follow this immortal dharma (path of devotion) as described, endowed with faith, holding Me as the supreme goal, those devotees are exceedingly dear to Me.
टीका / Commentary
भगवान ने भक्त के लक्षण बताने के बाद कहा कि जो इस प्रकार वर्णित भक्तियोग का श्रद्धापूर्वक पालन करते हैं, वे मुझे अत्यंत प्रिय हैं। यहाँ "अतीव" शब्द विशेष बल देता है।
