विभूति योग (Vibhuti Yoga) – श्लोक 42
श्लोक ४२ में कृष्ण कहते हैं कि वे अपने एक अंश से सम्पूर्ण जगत् को धारण करते हैं। Verse 42: Krishna reveals that He supports the entire universe with just one fragment of Himself.

अथवा बहुनैतेन किं ज्ञातेन तवार्जुन | विष्टभ्याहमिदं कृत्स्नमेकांशेन स्थितो जगत् || ४२||
athavā bahunaitena kiṃ jñātena tavārjuna | viṣṭabhyāham idaṃ kṛtsnam ekāṃśena sthito jagat ||42||

हे अर्जुन! अथवा इस बहुत जानने से क्या लाभ है? मैं इस सम्पूर्ण जगत् को अपने एक अंश से धारण करके स्थित हूँ।
English Translation
But of what avail is the knowledge of all these details to you, O Arjuna? I exist, supporting this whole world with one fragment of Myself.
टीका / Commentary
This magnificent concluding verse of Chapter 10 reveals the ultimate truth: the entire universe is supported by just a single fragment (eka amsha) of Krishna's divine being. The enumerated glories are mere hints; His actual greatness is infinite and beyond comprehension. This verse prepares Arjuna for the cosmic vision (Vishvarupa) in the next chapter.
