मोक्ष संन्यास योग (Moksha Sannyaasa Yoga) – श्लोक 5
श्लोक ५ में यज्ञ, दान और तप को करने योग्य बताया गया है। Verse 5: Sacrifice, charity, and austerity are purifying and must be performed.

यज्ञदानतपःकर्म न त्याज्यं कार्यमेव तत्। यज्ञो दानं तपश्चैव पावनानि मनीषिणाम्॥५॥
yajña-dāna-tapaḥ-karma na tyājyaṃ kāryam eva tat | yajño dānaṃ tapaś caiva pāvanāni manīṣiṇām ||5||

हिंदी अनुवाद
यज्ञ, दान और तप - ये कर्म त्यागने योग्य नहीं हैं, बल्कि करने ही योग्य हैं। यज्ञ, दान और तप विद्वान् पुरुषों को भी पवित्र करने वाले हैं।
English Translation
Acts of sacrifice, charity, and austerity should not be abandoned; they must certainly be performed. Sacrifice, charity, and austerity are purifying for the wise.
टीका / Commentary
भगवान् स्पष्ट करते हैं कि यज्ञ, दान, तप जैसे नित्य कर्म त्याज्य नहीं हैं। ये तो साधक को पवित्र करते हैं। इसलिए इन्हें करना चाहिए, पर फल की आसक्ति रहित होकर।
