श्रद्धात्रय विभाग योग (Sraddhatraya Vibhaga Yoga) – श्लोक 28
श्लोक २८: बिना श्रद्धा के किया गया यज्ञ, दान, तप या कोई भी कर्म असत् है – न इस लोक में फलदायी, न परलोक में। Verse 28: Any sacrifice, charity, austerity, or action done without faith is called Asat – it is worthless here and hereafter.

अश्रद्धया हुतं दत्तं तपस्तप्तं कृतं च यत्। असदित्युच्यते पार्थ न च तत्प्रेत्य नो इह॥२८॥
aśraddhayā hutaṁ dattaṁ tapas taptaṁ kṛtaṁ ca yat | asad ity ucyate pārtha na ca tat pretya no iha ||28||

हिंदी अनुवाद
हे पार्थ! जो यज्ञ (हवन) किया जाता है, जो दान दिया जाता है, जो तप तपा जाता है और जो भी कर्म बिना श्रद्धा के किया जाता है – वह "असत्" कहलाता है। उसका कोई फल इस लोक में नहीं मिलता और न ही परलोक में।
English Translation
Whatever is offered in sacrifice, given in charity, or performed in austerity or any action without faith – is called Asat, O Partha; it is naught here or hereafter.
टीका / Commentary
यह अध्याय का अन्तिम श्लोक निष्कर्ष प्रस्तुत करता है: बिना श्रद्धा के किए गए सभी धार्मिक कर्म (यज्ञ, दान, तप) निष्फल होते हैं। वे "असत्" (असत्य/नकार्थक) हैं और न इस लोक में सुख देते हैं, न परलोक में। श्रद्धा ही सब कर्मों की आत्मा है। This concluding verse emphasizes that all acts of sacrifice, charity, and austerity performed without faith are "Asat" – they are useless and yield no results either in this world or the next. Faith is the essence of all spiritual actions.
