श्रद्धात्रय विभाग योग (Sraddhatraya Vibhaga Yoga) – श्लोक 1
श्लोक १ में अर्जुन पूछते हैं कि जो शास्त्रों का पालन न कर श्रद्धापूर्वक पूजा करते हैं, उनकी स्थिति क्या है? Verse 1: Arjuna asks about those who worship with faith but neglect scriptures.

अर्जुन उवाच ये शास्त्रविधिमुत्सृज्य यजन्ते श्रद्धयान्विताः। तेषां निष्ठा तु का कृष्ण सत्त्वमाहो रजस्तमः॥१॥
arjuna uvāca ye śāstra-vidhim utsṛjya yajante śraddhayānvitāḥ | teṣāṁ niṣṭhā tu kā kṛṣṇa sattvam āho rajas tamaḥ ||1||

हिंदी अनुवाद
अर्जुन ने कहा – हे कृष्ण! जो श्रद्धा से युक्त होकर शास्त्र-विधि को त्यागकर (अन्य देवताओं की) पूजा करते हैं, उनकी स्थिति क्या है? क्या वह सात्त्विक है, राजसी है या तामसी?
English Translation
Arjuna said: Those who, endowed with faith, worship (the gods), but who have abandoned the ordinances of the scriptures, what is their condition? Is it sattva, rajas or tamas?

अर्जुन का प्रश्न उन लोगों के बारे में है जो शास्त्रीय विधानों का पालन न करते हुए भी श्रद्धापूर्वक उपासना करते हैं। वह जानना चाहते हैं कि उनकी श्रद्धा किस गुण से प्रभावित है। Arjuna's question pertains to those who worship with faith but without following scriptural injunctions, and he wants to know the nature of their faith.
